Kristen Noel Kristy Swanson (born Kristen Noel Swanson) is an American actress who was famous for the role of Buffy Summers. Her other roles include: Rebecca Becky Granger, in the television film Nightingales as well as the short-lived NBC show with the same title; Erica Paget, as Early Edition on CBS and Marlowe Viccellio as Psych. Swanson is a native of California. She was acting from a young age. She began her career working in the field of advertising, appearing in multiple commercials. She first appeared on the screen in 1984 during NBCs It's Your Time episode. A year later, in the romantic comedy Pretty in Pink of 1986 She made her major-screen debut. Swan is most well-known for her blonde hair, and the sexy voice she uses. In recent years she has moved on to acting in secondary roles.
